Introducing our new research focussed trustees

The Elizabeth Casson Trust is thrilled to announce the appointment of two new trustees who will be responsible for our portfolio of projects within our research strategic intention (http://bit.ly/2BJii45 )
Professor Avril Drummond and Professor Jane Melton will pick up the Trust’s research strategy developed by Tai Frater and Professor Diane Cox as she leaves the Trust to assume her role as Chair of Council for RCOT.
The Trust will provide funding for research grants ranging from £25,000 to £200,000 for individuals or groups of researchers. Our aim is to develop and deliver occupational therapy research and to build capacity in evidence generation & knowledge mobilisation such that occupational therapists will use the evidence overtly in day to day practice.
Professors Drummond and Melton are well know to occupational therapists for their many research contributions and leadership in the profession: skills and attributes that will serve the Trust well and which we look forward to benefitting from! Welcome both!
