Come join us as a trustee!
As the end of the year approaches us, the terms of office for three of our trustees are also approaching an end. Before these trustees leave, we are advertising to replace their positions on our board.
We want to say an enormous thank you to Vaughan Griffiths, Dr Malabika Ghosh and our vice-chair Naomi Hankinson for the time and work they have given to the Trust. As we are a very small organisation, we rely on our voluntary trustees to make our projects happen. Their skills, knowledge and dedication have helped shape the Trust and, ultimately, its impact. These individuals will be greatly missed by the board and executive team.
With these trustees leaving, three new positions are becoming vacant on our board of trustees. We would like to recruit two occupational therapists and one with financial expertise.
If you are considering joining us, please read about our values and commitments, and strategic and operational intentions to learn about the Trust. Please also have a browse through our website more generally to see the different learning and development initiatives and funding options we are proud to offer occupational therapists.
We always intend to have trustees whose knowledge, skills and interests align with the projects we are working on. We would welcome an application from any occupational therapist, regardless of career stage, who shares our values and brings a can-do attitude to furthering our profession. Also of note is that one of the occupational therapists we appoint would start in the spring, whereas the other two trustees would begin in October.
Please read the role descriptor to understand more about the trustee roles.
If you would like to know more, please contact Pam and we will arrange for you to speak with one of our trustees.
The closing date for applications is 9th September 2024. After shortlisting, interviews will take place on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024.
We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application.
