Presenter Funding for WFOT, 2026 (Bangkok, Thailand)
Applications have now closed
Can you believe the last WFOT Congress (in Paris) was in 2022?! It was an unforgettable event, with world-class speakers🎤 , inspiring conversations💬, and the chance to connect with Occupational Therapists from across the globe🌍 .
So, we know that you, just like all of us at the Trust, will be super excited about the prospect of the 19th WFOT Congress which will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 9th to 12th February 2026 📅.
We’re pretty sure that our founder, Dr Elizabeth Casson, would already have her bags packed. With a theme like “Inspiring Change, Innovating Futures,” how could she resist?!
In the spirit of Elizabeth ✨, the Trust will be offering financial support to inspiring and innovative OTs who will be presenting at the Congress. While this financial support will predominantly be in the form of a contribution towards registration fees (paid directly to WFOT for successful applicants), the Trust will also consider making a contribution towards travel and accommodation costs on a case-by-case basis.
While all presenters are welcome to apply, please note that preference will be given to supporting those OTs who have not received funding from us to attend Congress previously.
So, if your abstract has been accepted (for either an oral or poster presentation) and you have confirmed you will be attending with WFOT, what are you waiting for?
Applications will close at 17:00 BST Friday 5th September 2025 and successful applicants will be notified by Monday 6th October 2025.
We look forward to receiving your applications!
