4 Weeks To Go! Strike a Light the Art and Science of Occupational Therapy
There are just 4 weeks until the opening of “Strike A Light: The Art and Science of Occupational Therapy” and the team is working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready.
Last week included a trip to the framers to get the artworks featured in the exhibition framed, with lots of options for materials, colours and glazing! Some of the works have never been exhibited in a gallery before and some you may recognise. Working with artists throughout this process has been a hugely rewarding part of developing the exhibition. Being able to share their stories about the impact that creative activities have had on their lives, connections with other people and wellbeing is a privilege, and we hope you enjoy seeing them for yourself when the exhibition opens.
We’ll be providing updates in the lead up to the exhibition, including sharing information about what is in the exhibition and some behind-the-scenes pics as we get ready to open. So make sure to follow and let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see about the process of making the exhibition.
