New trustee announced: Professor Diane Cox
The trustees are pleased and excited to announce Professor Diane Cox PhD, MSc, DipCOT, CLTHE, FCOT, has been selected to join the Board of Trustees of the Elizabeth Casson Trust.
Diane has been an active practitioner, researcher and educator for over 30 years and is currently Director of Research at the University of Cumbria . She continues to research and advise on ethics for new projects and was previously chair of the BJOT editorial board. Diane was also the 2017 Elizabeth Casson Memorial lecturer at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists’ annual conference.
Diane joins the Trust to support our work on our strategic intention to help
‘develop and promote the evidence base of occupational therapy in order to increase the understanding of the efficacy and unique contribution of occupational therapists to this people with occupational needs within the UK‘.
