More and more, occupational therapists are being asked to develop business cases for commissioners or to request funding. For many of us, this is a new experience so Alicia Ridout has developed a short presentation of some ‘Top Tips’ on how to approach this task.
Alicia Ridout is an independent HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, Fellow Faculty of Clinical Informatics, CAHPO Digital Innovator 2017, Vice Chair RCOT England Board and serial innovator. She has extensive experience working at a senior level across health and care in the UK. She has led several at-scale digital health innovations and works in digital clinical safety, applying core skills and occupational models to improve patient care. Alicia works at director level and is inventor/project lead of the web app – Clinical Onboarding Guide for OTs, COG-OT.
