Dr Rob Brooks is an Associate Professor and the Professional Lead for Occupational Therapy at the University of Bradford. Rob has an extensive clinical background as an occupational therapists for children, young people and families. His research has built on this clinical work and includes studies to develop an intervention to enhance the participation and mental health of children who have physical disabilities. The use of occupational formulation in Occupational Therapy has also been a key area of theoretical, research and practice development for Rob.
Supporting his teaching and research Rob has published in books and journals and has been delighted to work with colleagues from the UK, Sweden, Canada and Australia. He is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Research and Development Board.
