Sensory Integration module 2 / 3
The Elizabeth Casson fund granted me £1500 to contribute towards my sensory integration network module 2 and 3 training. I am still completing my training and I am due to finish module 3 next month. The funding enabled me to increase my knowledge around assessment of sensory integration and this has meant I have carried out more explicit and correct assessment of children on my caseload. As well as this I am due to carry out a staff training to the physiotherapists in my team to teach them about the up to date evidence and increase their understanding of sensory integration and praxis and using some of the clinical observations. This will support collaborative working across OT & PT.
