Request for proposal: Practice development during COVID-19 response
There are currently unprecedented demands on all areas of health and social care across the UK due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Services are having to respond in new and different ways to meet the needs of those recovering from COVID-19, but also the needs of others for whom the usual pathway of care is not available at this time.
To help occupational therapists and wider services respond to this situation, the Elizabeth Casson Trust is excited to announce funding awards to support the development of innovative practice in local areas.
Issuing the first of two Requests for Proposals today, the Trust has intentionally designed an expedient process to encourage applications (application below). Further, recognising that needs may emerge more clearly over time, we are holding two application rounds. Key dates are:
Round 1 submission 28 May, award notification 11 June, and
Round 2 submission 9 July, award notification 23 July.
Up to £10,000 is available per application with the Trust keen to support a number of initiatives. We encourage you to take a look at the attached document and consider submitting a proposal. If you have any questions, please email Pam at [email protected].
A second Request for Proposal will be issued on 4 May focussing on support for occupational therapists: watch us on Twitter (@elizabethcasso1), FB (Elizabeth Casson Trust) and this website for the release.
