Join Our Board of Trustees!
It’s hard to believe, but our October Board Meeting and AGM are fast approaching. This is always a time of reflection and celebration, but also one of change. As we mark the end of another busy and successful year, we must also say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to two of our valued Trustees, Dr Cate Bennett and Sharon Tuppeny.
As a Charitable Trust, we rely heavily on the dedication of our voluntary Trustees. Cate and Sharon have contributed their time, expertise, and passion for occupational therapy to the Trust, helping shape our work and amplify our impact. They will be greatly missed by both the board and executive team.
With their departure, we are now seeking two new Trustees to join our board.
To apply, you must be:
· A qualified occupational therapist; and
· A British citizen (or can demonstrate you have the right to work in the UK)
We welcome applicants at any career stage who share our values and who can bring a proactive, positive approach to advancing our profession.
Interested?
Start by exploring our website to learn about our Values and Strategic Intentions, and the initiatives we support across the UK and beyond. Please also read the Trustee Role Description to understand what’s involved in being a Trustee with us.
We aim to align Trustee skills with our current projects – so if there’s an area where you have experience or a particular interest – be sure to highlight this in your application.
If you’d like an informal chat about the role, please contact Suzanne at [email protected] to arrange a conversation with our Chair or another member of the Board.
How to apply:
Please submit a Personal Statement (maximum of 2 A4 pages OR a 5-minute video), together with your CV, to: a[email protected].
Key dates:
Closing Date: 17 September 2025
Interview Date: Wednesday, 8 October 2025
We look forward to receiving your application!
