Public Health Masters

The professional development attained from completing the masters of public health at Glasgow University has offered a considerable advance in a number of areas. At a basic level, the critical thinking, analytics and time taken to elicit understanding in research has improved to a level that can be easily transferred into the clinical and professional setting, with a view to develop peers and in turn improve practice for service user experience. At a deeper level a perspective change on healthcare has been achieved, with a greater insight into the unique contribution that Occupational Therapists can offer in public health, recognizing that the message from RCOT in regards to public health and occupational therapy is antiquated.
