| This CPD study has been imperative in enabling me to successfully create an evidence-based Occupational Therapy service within a brand new area of practice in a Stalking Intervention Service. The MSc module allowed me to critically analyse literature to identify specific occupational needs of service users; this then supported further exploration of models of practice appropriate to structure the service. This academic time has been vital to support everyday practice – and has contributed immensely to getting the project off the ground and promoting the value of OT to other agencies (police, probation and victim advocacy). |
