MSc Advanced Professional Practice
I received funding towards the first year of a part time MSc Advanced Professional Practice at Plymouth University. I am now over half way through the course and I already feel a massive shift in my ability. I feel empowered in my role as the only Occupational Therapist within my organisation, where I previously felt isolated and overwhelmed. Due to skills gained through the MSc my role has now grown and we have employed occupational therapy assistants due to my developed leadership skills, which have enabled me to advocate for the value of occupational therapy and the power occupation can bring to our service.
