| I used the award from Elizabeth Casson to attend the 8th Annual Critical Care Rehabilitation Conference at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA. The conference highlighted the latest research in the area of early mobility and rehabilitation within the critical care environment. It was an amazing networking opportunity to speak with occupational therapist and other professionals from around the world about programs and interventions within intensive care environments. The conference expanded my knowledge on creating a culture of early rehabilitation and reviewed treatment strategies for working with medical complex children. |
