| This CPD award has given me the opportunity to become an AMPs trained therapist, which I can now proudly state that I am. As a certified AMPs trained therapist I am now able to offer assessments to a much wider patient demographic and can work excess hours to support my team with my unique skill set. Becoming trained in such a reliable and accurate assessment at this early stage of my career is invaluable; as it has already opened doors to me such as allowed me to join AMPs groups attended my occupational therapy colleagues. These regular meetings promise to be a valuable learning experience for me and will give me the opportunity to network with other professionals as well as contribute to the development of occupational therapy across the Lothians. |
