| In terms of my professional development, the opportunity to engage with the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills course has allowed me to develop my practice to a higher level. I have gained skills and knowledge relevant in activity analysis and occupational participation which allows me to gain better understanding of potential barriers leading patients to experience occupational deprivation. With improved skills and understanding I am able to plan interventions which can support individual patients in addressing their own occupational needs. By addressing patient specific needs, there is more opportunity to contribute to specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely therapy goals and thus supporting patients to reach with full occupational potential. |
