Exciting Portal Changes Afoot!
We are currently upgrading our application process to a new portal system.
Our application process is closed from Monday, 17 March, and we will be back online on Monday, 31 March, when we hope to have a more user-friendly system for applicants.
Receiving and granting funding awards from funding streams is an enormous part of the work we do at the Elizabeth Casson Trust, so these systems must be as good as they can be. Our system has remained unchanged for a long time despite the remit of Trust’s work growing, and we now need an upgrade. Our new system will:
- Enable you to register for the ECT portal so that you can log in and track the progress of your applications
- Enable you to save your details so that you don’t have to keep re-typing the same information as you complete multiple applications
- Enable your personal information to be processed and stored in compliance with the best data protection practices.
Below are screenshots of what you will see as you log in and track all of your previous ECT applications.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we close our application windows to make these changes. As an organisation with funding windows open all of the time, there is no ideal time to do this, but it needs to be done to improve how we do things for you, our end users. We have been working hard in the background to prepare for our portal launch, and we hope you will share our excitement as we move to better systems and technology.
You will be able to submit your applications from midday on 31 March. Please note: you will need to register for our new portal application system before you can submit an application to us. You can then log back in to see the progress of your application as it moves through our assessment system.
We have compiled a PDF list of the fields/sections of each of our awards, so if you want to work on an application in Word while the system is down, you may do so: https://elizabethcasson.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Funding-Stream-Information.pdf. If you choose to do this, you will need to copy and paste your answers into our new portal system when that opens.
If you have any queries concerning these changes, please contact us at [email protected].
We look forward to receiving your applications.
