Having to write – or even wanting to write – and facing that blank sheet of paper can be overwhelming. Professor Annie Turners discusses how to approach the task with some easy questions that should start you on the right foot.
Annie Turner is an Emeritus Professor of occupational therapy and former chair of the Elizabeth Casson Trust. She was the lead editor of Occupational Therapy and Physical Dysfunction between 1981 and 2012 and wrote many chapters in these texts. Annie has experience in writing national Standards of Proficiency for HCP (now HCPC), benchmark statements for the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and distance learning material for the Open University. She has written many educational course documents and syllabi, both for universities and the RCOT and has published several articles in professional journals. She continues to write both formally and informally for publication.
